I offer therapy that values your way of thinking, communicating, and experiencing the world. Sessions move at your pace, with no pressure to mask or “fit in.”

My work with you as a counsellor

I work as an integrative therapist with my core modality being person centred. This means different counselling tools and techniques can be drawn upon and utilised in our sessions should this suit your individual needs. This also means I will always provide honesty, transparency, empathy and will not judge you. As I believe everyone is unique, during our initial sessions, we can delve into the difficulties at hand and work together to create a plan for addressing these difficulties to help empower you.
Experience
I have worked with clients aged 7-65 who have experienced their own personal difficulties, including Anxiety, Anger, Trauma (including complex trauma), Depression, Social Anxiety, Issues With Self-Esteem, Body Image Difficulties, Panic, Loss/Bereavement, Eating Difficulties, Relationship/Family Difficulties, Long-Term Illness, Life Stress & Many More.

Experienced in supporting clients with Autism and ADHD, with particular awareness of the experiences and challenges that can accompany late diagnosis. This includes recognising the impact on self-identity, confidence, relationships, and day-to-day life, and creating a space that values neurodivergent ways of thinking and being.

I offer open ended therapy meaning I can offer short-term and long-term counselling. I offer face to face and online therapy and can offer weekly, or bi-weekly.

"My sessions have been fantastic and I really have benefitted and learnt so much from these sessions. I am hugely grateful to my counsellor for all their support and time during our sessions. They were fantastic."
Jodie has been incredible with me and came at a much needed time in my life. She is respectful, knowledgeable and I feel really seen and listened to throughout our sessions. I highly recommend Jodie as a therapist and I am very happy to have her as my therapist.
''I didn't know what to expect as I have never engaged with therapy before - Jodie has been so patient, understanding and empathic throughout my journey and has integrated different tools to help me with my growth''
